Import a YouTube video

Paste a YouTube link. The video comes with its Afrikaans captions to read, listen and practise.

How it works

Paste the link of a YouTube video in Afrikaans that has captions.
Pick a topic and your level.
Antlang fetches the captions in about a minute, then the video is ready to learn from.

Which videos work?

Videos in Afrikaans with captions, written by the channel or generated by YouTube. A video with no captions in that language cannot be imported.

Can others see the videos I import?

No. An imported video is private to your account.

What can I do with the video?

Read the synced captions, loop lines, look up words, translate, take the quiz, practise dictation and shadowing, and play the video games.

How many can I make for free?

For this kind, Free accounts get 1 in total; Premium gets Unlimited. Each lesson or imported video counts as one.
